Went downstairs to get a cup of coffee this morning and there, in the foggy garden, were two Mallards sitting beneath the bird feeders. They spotted me and started waddling across the garden, and were then chased away by a further two ducks which appeared from the fog!
I'm not sure whether nesting ducks, with the resulting ducklings, would be a good or bad thing...
