Seed-munchers

Been playing around with digiscoping garden birds through the double glazing...

Sometimes the results are pretty good, considering

Chaffinch

Good light seems to be the biggest factor (it's really dull today)

Other times they are not very good, but it's nice to have a record of what's been visiting the garden

  3. Yellowhammers in the garden! Jeez, it's proper Brambly Hedge at your place, innit? Can't decide whether I'm more in awe of your talent, your patience or your window cleaner :o)

  4. Clean glass and decent light outside certainly helps Kathie, and you stay dry!
Nice selection but Yellowhammers are a treat. FAB.

  5. Some great photos there. I find that photographing through double glazing often tends to dull the colours and contrast so I usually end up processing the results with IrfanView or PaintShop Pro to bring them up a bit.
